Danish Cricket Federation (DCF) will be hosting the U19 youth team from Sweden for a series of matches in both T20 and 50-over formats from August 02nd – 05th, 2021 at Svanholm park ground in Copenhagen.
The originally planned quadrangular series involving U19 teams from Netherlands and Germany did not materialize due to ongoing travel restrictions related to COVID-19 pandemic. The series will provide the U19 team the opportunity to get International games held at home after the disappointment of having to withdraw from the U19 World Cup European qualifiers in Spain due to clash with the school calendar during the scheduled period of the event.
Sweden U19 squad was selected by the National High Performance team that included the National Head Coach Jonty Rhodes, after the conclusion of the 2021 Junior Premier League tournament held in July 2021.
