ICC have announced that decisions on matters involving the governance in Nepal and USA will be discussed in the Annual General Meeting, to be held in Jun 2018.

A General Meeting to be held in Nepal in Mar 2018 will decide on adopting the amended constitution which was formulated during ICC delegations visit to Nepal recently as elections at District, Provincial and Central levels will be held to constitute the new Cricket Board, which will be up for readmission discussion as Associate country in the Annual General Meeting.

In USA, election of a new Board and Chairperson under the new constitution is expected to be completed in early June 2018, following which, the new Cricket Board will apply for Associate status.

If things do not go well for Nepal’s inclusion based on the elections, then Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) stands to get expelled exactly like how USACA was expelled in June 2017 during the last ICC Annual General Meeting.
