2021 Houston Premier League T20 tournament, which is a USA Cricket sanctioned event, will take place from July 01st – 04th during US Independence weekend at the Prairie View Cricket Complex in Houston, which also played host’s to the 2021 Houston Open T20 tournament in May 2021.
UMMC Knight Riders, Houston Stars, Houston Stallions, CricBase Gladiators, HCL Hurricanes and Power Stars are the six teams in the competition being played in a single round-robin group stage format, followed by the knock-out stages. The teams have signed up few notable international stars in the roster for the competition, which will be running alongside many other events during the Independence weekend that includes the likes of LA Open T20 tournament.
UMMC Knight Riders are the defending Champions from the 2019 edition of the tournament, which was held in Texas.
