Hong Kong announce squad for Malaysia series and ACC Eastern Region T20

Cricket Hong Kong (CHK) have announced their 15-member men’s national squad, which will take part in the 2020 ACC Asia Cup Eastern Region T20 Qualifiers in Thailand from Feb 27th – Mar 07th, 2020. The squad will also play a 5-match T20I home series against visiting Malaysia to prepare for the ACC tournament.

Hong Kong will be competing for two spots from the Eastern Region T20 tournament into the Asia Cup Qualifiers. Hong Kong are placed in Group B alongside Singapore, Bhutan and Myanmar, while Group A consist’s of Nepal, Malaysia, Thailand and China.

The Interport T20I series against Malaysia will take place from Feb 18th – 22nd, 2020 at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground. This will be the first T20I assignment for Hong Kong after their participation in the 2020 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifiers in Oct/Nov 2019 in UAE.
