Cricket Kenya to host first round of CWC Challenge League Group in September 2024

Cricket Kenya (CK) will be hosting the first (1st) round of 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Challenge League Group B from September 25th – October 05th, 2024. CK will host the Men’s National teams of Papua New Guinea, Jersey, Denmark, Kuwait and Qatar in the first of the three (3) scheduled rounds for both the groups, at the conclusion of which the top two (2) teams from both the groups will advance to the 2027 ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off tournament.

Former India International Dodda Ganesh was announced as the Head Coach for the Men’s team at a function held at the Sikh Union Club, and the Challenge League again presents the opportunity for Kenya Men’s team to get back at the top tier of Associate ODI competition for the next cycle.
