Guernsey Cricket Board (GCB) will be hosting the Men’s National team of Jersey for the Annual Inter-Insular series, with three (3)-games in T20 format set to take place at the KGV playing fields on June 22nd and 23rd, 2024. Discussions are also going on for the one-off game in One-day format (the traditional 50-overs format game, which has been taking place since the beginning of the Inter-Insular series back in the 1950’s) between the two (2) boards.
The series will mark the first International games for the Guernsey Men’s team in 2024, as they look forward to hosting and competing in the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Europe Sub-regional Qualifier C event in August, where Jersey Men will also be there as one of the ten (10) participants. Jersey Men have already played International cricket in 2024, when they toured Spain for a bi-lateral series, and will also be heading to Copenhagen for bi-lateral tour of Denmark in June, before travelling to Guernsey for the Inter-Insulars.
