Jersey Men’s U19 team is set to play a couple of matches in the 50-overs format against Ireland Men’s U19 team on 02nd and 03rd August 2023 at Lisburn Cricket club ground in Northern Ireland. The matches are part of final preparations for the Jersey team before heading to Netherlands for the 2024 ICC U19 Men’s World Cup Europe Qualifier from August 06th – 12th. Jersey team will have some members with prior experience of playing in the U19 Europe Qualifier in 2021 in Spain, with Charlie Brennan, Toby Britton, Will Perchard and George Richardson set to play their 2nd consecutive qualifier tournament, while majority of the rest of the squad have played domestic cricket at home against the senior clubs in the past couple of seasons (2021 and 2022).
