Namibia to host Oman and UAE for CWC League 2 series in November/December 2021

Cricket Namibia (CN) will be hosting men’s national squads from Oman and United Arab Emirates (UAE) from November 26th – December 06th, 2021 for the 9th round of Cricket World Cup (CWC) League 2 Championships, which is the qualification pathway tournament towards 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup in India. The schedule for the event includes the two (2) pending games from their previous League 2 event held in Oman, where a match each against Namibia and UAE were postponed.

All the three countries will be playing each other twice during the double round-robin group stage format in the 50-overs format. Oman are currently at the top of the points table, having played 18 games already in the League 2 competition. Both Namibia and UAE have played only 7 games out of their scheduled 36 games in the competition so far.

    As three teams are facing each other twice, so the total number of matches should be 6 and not 8, as mentioned above.
    There is some erro in the above data and needs Correction.

      The extra two games are the postponed matches from 2020, which did not take place in Oman due to demise of their Sultan.
