Rebranded NCL GT20 Canada in October 2026 in the Caribbean

The fifth (5th) edition of Global T20 Canada (GT20 Canada) will be taking place from October 23rd – November 02nd, 2026. Following the Cricket Canada announcement of terminating the previous organizers, the rebranded version of the tournament will now be organized by National Cricket League (NCL), who oversee other tournaments being held in the North American region. This edition will also be held outside of Canada, with the event taking place in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, with all matches to take place at the Arnos Vale cricket stadium.

Five (5) teams, namely Toronto Kings, Brampton Blazers, Mississauga Skyhawks, Vancouver Guardians and the Montreal Warriors, will be competing for the title. The team names have also been changed as part of the new organizing structure for the GT20 Canada brand. It will be a big opportunity for the Canadian National team players and other domestic players to play alongside other overseas professionals from both West Indies and other Full Members/Associate Members.

Players from Associate Member Nations (likes of George Munsey, Muhammad Waseem, Brad Currie, Matthew Tromp, JJ Smuts, Harry Manenti, Zia Shahzad, Ali Khan, Charlie Hara-Hinze, Thomas Draca etc.) have already been picked up by the franchises for the tournament.
