Netherlands announce men’s squads for post-resumption of cricket

KNCB (Koninklijke Nederlandse Cricket Bond) coaching staff have announced the men’s squads (senior and academy), that will represent the country post resumption of any form of domestic or international cricket, after the current worldwide lockdown periods due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic gets lifted.

Netherlands have already had to cancel their scheduled tour of Namibia from Mar 25th – Apr 01st, on account of travel restrictions due to the pandemic situation. Netherlands have a big home summer season scheduled as they host New Zealand (Blackcaps) on 15th Jun 2020 at VOC Rotterdam for a solitary T20I fixture, followed by hosting Oman, Namibia and USA in a 4-nation ODI Quadrangular series from Jun 18th – 28th, 2020 across various venues at Excelsior ’20, Kampong, VCC and VOC.

Netherlands are also scheduled to host Pakistan in their ICC ODI Super League fixtures of 3 ODI matches from Jul 04th – 09th, 2020. However, with the restritions unlikely to be lifted during Jun/Jul 2020, the proposed series/tours could very well get postponed for later dates.
