Netherlands captain Peter Borren gave his thoughts post-announcement of ICC World Cup Qualifiers schedule and groupings and revealed Netherlands preparatory matches ahead of the 10-team tournament.
Netherlands will be traveling to Pretoria, South Africa in Feb 2018 for a pre-tour camp and will play matches against Ireland, Scotland & Netherlands to wrap up their preparations ahead of the Qualifiers.
Netherlands are pitted against Ireland, West Indies, Papua New Guinea and ICC WCL Division 2 winners in Group A of the tournament. Top 3 teams after the round-robin matches will move onto Super Six stage.
The 3 matches against fellow participants on the World Cup Qualifiers will provide good opportunity for Netherlands to finalize on their best XI for the Qualifiers.
