Revised Schedule announced for ICC World T20 Americas “A” qualifiers

The schedule for the upcoming ICC World T20 Americas Group “A” qualifiers, to be hosted by USA from Sep 19th – 27th, 2018 has been revised due to ground conditions at Raleigh Cricket Ground due to Hurricane Florence in North Carolina.

Host’s USA will compete against teams from Canada, Panama and Belize in a double round-robin league phase for 2 qualification spots in the Americas regional Finals in 2019. Bermuda and Cayman Islands have already qualified from Americas “B” qualifiers for the Finals.

All matches will be held at Raleigh Cricket Club ground in Morrisville, North Carolina. The ground is used to host matches of the local tournament for communities in North Carolina, Triangle Cricket League.

Panama and Belize’s last International assignment was in 2017 when they took part in the 2017 Central American Championships during MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club) tour of Belize & Mexico.

USA and Canada are the heavyweights among the Associate member nations in the region and will be expected to secure the qualification spots from Group “A” qualifiers.

20th Sep 2018: USA vs Panama @11am and Canada vs Belize @4pm

21st Sep 2018: Panama vs Canada @11am and USA vs Belize @4pm

22nd Sep 2018: Panama vs Belize @11am and Canada vs USA @4pm

23rd Sep 2018: USA vs Panama @4pm and Canada vs Belize @11am

25th Sep 2018: Panama vs Belize @11am and Canada vs USA @4pm

26th Sep 2018: USA vs Belize @11am and Canada vs Panama @4pm
