Scotland Women’s “A” squad suffered a 106 runs defeat against Durham Cricket Board Women’s XI while Netherlands Women’s XI brushed aside the challenge from Cornwall Women’s XI in the ECB Women’s County Championships in the latest round of matches held on 20th May 2018.
While Dutch bowlers set up the win for the team, Scottish batters failed to chase down a formidable total put up by Durham Ladies. Scotland Women now have 54 points from their 4 games so far, trailing Durham Women’s XI by 2 points in the Division 3 group A table.
Netherlands, on the other hand, also occupy the 2nd spot in the points table for Division 3 group B with 56 points, trailing behind Cornwall Women’s by a single point.
Netherlands Women’s XI will play against Wiltshire Women’s XI in their next game, while Scotland Women’s XI will take on Northumberland Women’s XI on 27th May 2018.
