Seelaar to lead Netherlands “A” squad on tour of Guernsey

New Dutch National captain, Pieter Seelaar will get his Captaincy debut as full-time, as he leads Netherlands “A” on their tour to Guernsey.

The tour consisting of three T20 matches and one solitary 50-overs fixture, will be played from Apr 28th – 30th, 2018. It will be a good opportunity for Head Coach Ryan Campbell to have a look at the uncapped players selected in the squad along with regular XI members before their next assignments involving T20 Tri-series at home and T20 Triangular tournament at Lord’s Cricket ground against MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club) and Nepal.

The series will be of equal importance for Guernsey, who have the Annual Inter-Insular series against Jersey and ICC Europe Qualifiers for WorldT20 lined-up later this year.

Netherlands Cricket Board (KNCB) announced the 13-member squad, which includes several players from the national team, which took part in ICC World Cup Qualifiers in Mar 2018 in Zimbabwe.
