There’s still more than a week to go before the ICC World Cup Qualifiers start with it’s group phase matches, and already there have been replacement players named by both Netherlands and Zimbabwe in their respective squads.
While Netherlands player and opener Stephan Myburgh was forced to withdraw due to Injury and was replaced by Bas de Leede in the squad, Zimbabwe selectors have now recalled experienced all-rounder Sean Williams and opening batsman, Cephas Zhuwao in their squad, replacing Ryan Burl and Tarisai Musakanda, respectively.

While Williams was injured earlier and did not take part in Zimbabwe’s tour of UAE recently for their ODI/T20I series against Afghanistan, Cephas Zhuwao was in good form recently for Zimbabwe “A” side against their series with Kenya, as part of Kenya’s preparation for recently concluded ICC WCL Division 2.
