Cricket Association of Thailand (CAT) has got another shot in the arm as national women’s squad member Nattakan Chantham has been selected in the Trailbrazers squad for upcoming Women’s T20 Challenge to be played from 4th November to 9th November in the UAE.
Chantham, who became the first player from Thailand to score a half-century against Pakistan Women in 2020 Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia, will be joining the likes of Smriti Mandhana, Salma Khatun (Bangladesh), Jhulan Goswami, Deandra Dottin (West Indies), Sophie Ecclestone (England) and Deepti Sharma in the Trailbrazers squad along with other Indian domestic and international players.
Chantham had played against some of the Indian players in Jan 2020, when Thailand Women took part in a 4-team quadrangular series held in Patna, Bihar as part of warm-up for Women’s T20 World Cup.
