After a long delay since December 2020, the Malaysia Super Women League is back for it’s 2nd edition from April 27th – May 05th, 2024 at Bayuemas Oval ground. The tournament organized by Malaysian Cricket Association (MCA) is being sponsored by Yayasam Sime Darby and will feature five (5) teams, namely Western Wonder Women, Southern Jaguars, Northern Queens, Eastern Lioness, and Central Supergirls.
The inaugural edition held in 2020 featured players from six (6) countries namely Australia, Vanuatu, Singapore, Myanmar, Indonesia & Thailand. And the 2024 edition is expected to have participation of players from nine (9) different countries. Northern Queens team are the Defending Champions from the inaugural edition, having won the Final against the Eastern Lioness, thanks to a brilliant all-round performance from Winifred Duraisingam, while Samantha Arnold impressed with her all-round skills for the Lioness team.
