Argentina beat Chile to win 14th South American Championship

Argentina remained unbeaten throughout the tournament to clinch the 14th South American Championship defeating Chile in the final by 7 wickets.

Batting first, Chile could manage to score only 132/8 in their 20 overs. Mayank Patel (52 off 46) held the innings together as wickets kept falling at the other end. Some late hitting from Jaggi Singh (30 off 18) took Chile to their final score.

Agustin Husain (2/23), Abhiram Raghuprakash (2/25) & Pedro Arrighi (2/28) were the pick of the bowlers for Argentina.

In reply, Pedro Arrighi (29 off 20) provided a quick start before Ramiro Escobar (42 off 34) & Lautaro Musiani (45 n.o off 28) took the team home with Argentina losing 2 more wickets to end up making 138/3 in only 15.3 overs to register a comfortable 7 wickets victory.
