Bangladesh’s TSM sign record deal with Afghanistan Cricket

Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has awarded the Worldwide Media Rights to Total Sports Marketing (TSM) for all ACB-hosted International Cricket Matches and domestic Tournaments played for the period between FY2018 – FY2023.

The record deal includes Worldwide media rights of all International home matches including ICC’s Future Tours Program (FTP) matches, Bilateral & Multi-lateral cricket events, along with ACB’s domestic cricket tournaments, Shpageeza Cricket League and Ghazi Amanullah Khan One-Day Cup. Afghanistan currently have two Home bases in India and one in UAE.

TSM, a prominent Media Company based in Bangladesh, currently has the media rights of all ICC Events and Asia Cups for Bangladesh territory along with Worldwide Media Rights of Bangladesh Cricket Board’s home International matches and Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

The first series to be featured under the new deal will be Afghanistan’s T20I series against Bangladesh at Dehradun, India.

Afghanistan are also due to host Pakistan, Ireland, Australia and Netherlands in the proposed ICC 13-Nation ODI League from 2020-2022.

Afghanistan’s line-up of series from 2020-2022 in ICC ODI League:

FY2020-2021: Afghanistan vs Pakistan (Home), Afghanistan vs Ireland (Home), Afghanistan vs Bangladesh (Away), Afghanistan vs Sri Lanka (Away)

FY2021-2022: Afghanistan vs Australia (Home), Afghanistan vs Netherlands (Home), Afghanistan vs India (Away), Afghanistan vs Zimbabwe (Away)
