Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) will be organizing the inaugural edition of Men’s domestic T10 competition in September, after the successful staging of the 2022 national club cricket competition, the National Premier League (NPL) in both formats of the white-ball cricket, with matches having taken place at grounds across venues in Mutare, Harare, Takashinga, Bulawayo, Kwekwe and Old Hararians.
The teams who participated in the 2022 NPL T20 competition are Amakhosi, Takashinga 1, Takashinga 2, Gladiators, Westside Cricket Club, Harare Kings, Great Zimbabwe, Lions, Nortonians Cricket Club and Bulawayo Athletic. In the T10 tournament structure announced by ZC, there will be two (2) groups of four (4) teams each, with Group A comprising of teams from Gladiators CC, Great Zimbabwe CC, Lions CC and Takashinga 2, while Group B comprises of teams from Bulawayo Athletic CC, Harare Kings, Takashinga 1 and Westside CC.
