Dubai Destroyers reclaimed the top spot in the 2017 Arabian Cricket Carnival points table after defeating Saudi Arab Rangers by 5 wickets.
Emirates Hurricanes also registered a 5 wicket victory over Oman Avengers in their final group match.
Batting first, Saudi Arab Rangers posted 132/5 in their 20 overs with Mehran Khan (43) scoring the most runs. Dubai Destroyers reached the target scoring 135/5 in 19.1 overs with JA Kolsawala (48) playing a good hand.
Oman Avengers were bowled out for 147 in 19.1 overs with Shahzad Manna (37) and Aqib Ilyas (35) doing the bulk of the scoring. Abdulla Azhar picked up 3 wickets. Emirates Hurricanes reached the target scoring 149/5 in only 14 overs with Kapil Yadav smashing 76 runs for the team.
Last 3 group matches remain and post that, the Semis & the Final will be played on 5th October, 2017.
