Queensland Cricket to host KFC T20 Max 2023 in August

Queensland Cricket will be hosting both the Men’s and Women’s editions of 2023-24 KFC T20 Max in the months of August and September 2023 across various venues in the State. The Men’s competition will take place from 23rd August – 09th September, while the Women’s competition will take place from 24th August – 03rd September. A grand total of $15 000 will be handed out in prizemoney, with both champions (Men’s/Women’s) receiving $5000, and the runners up $2500.

Plenty of overseas players from New Zealand, Pakistan, Bangladesh have been signed up by the teams in both Men’s and Women’s categories, while players having represented Italy (Harry Manenti), Scotland (Saskia Horley), Japan (Kendel Fleming) and Papua New Guinea (Chad Soper and Jack Gardner) in International cricket will also have the opportunity to compete in the tournament. Sandgate-Redcliffe team was one of the participating teams in the 2022 edition of the tournament, having three (3) players from Papua New Guinea national team.
