Bangladesh U-19 batted first and gave a much better display as they put up 227/8 in their 50 overs with Saif Hasan (62 off 115) and Afif Hossain (59 off 67) scoring half-centuries for their side. Naim Sheikh (26 off 28) and Tawhid Hridoy (29 off 50) also got among the runs for the Bangladeshis.

Dipendra Singh Airee (2/34 off 10) and Sandeep Lamichhane (2/37 off 10) showed their senior level experience by bowling tight lines and lengths. However, other bowlers could not put on more pressure on the Bangladeshi batsmen.

In reply, Nepal U-19 were bowled out for only 104 runs in 36.5 overs. Rasid Khan (24 off 40) and Pawan Sarraf (16 off 42) were the only players who managed to spend some time in the middle.
