A Nepali Club is gaining popularity in the Danish Cricket scene as they recently gained promotion to Division 2 of Denmark’s domestic competition.

The club took part in division 3 in 2016, competing with 14 other teams in Copenhagen. By virtue of winning 11 games out of 13, the club gained promotion. In 2018, the team looks forward to play against 8 stronger teams in the 2nd division.

The 25-member strong club would love to get into Division 1, for it will mean more financial funding for them to establish as a leading cricket club in the country.

Club Coordinator, Krishna Chand says that players like Sabal Chhetri, Kushal Raj Adhikari, Bikas Timilsina & Sujan Adhikari will be key to the club’s success in the coming years.
