World Cup qualifiers preparations starts with Pakistan Cup Women’s One-Day Tournament

Pakistan Cup Women’s One-Day Tournament commences from 09th September 2021 with an eye on preparations towards Women’s World Cup qualifiers in November in Zimbabwe. Four teams (Blasters, Challengers, Dynamites and Strikers) will compete in the 14-match tournament being played at National Stadium and Oval Academy Ground in Karachi.

Strikers, the new-entrants, are captained by Pakistan all-rounder Kainat Imtiaz. Blasters are led by Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Sidra Nawaz, Challengers by Pakistan captain Javeria Khan and Dynamites by Pakistan opener Muneeba Ali Siddiqui. live-streaming of seven matches in the tournament will be available on YouTube channel. Blasters are the defending Champions from the las one-day tournament held in the 2019/2020 season, where they won the final against Challengers.
