Kenya U-19 lose to Thunder Indigenous XI in Australia

Thunder Indigenous XI registered a comfortable 6-wicket win against the Kenya U-19 team at Punchbowl Park in Australia as part of Kenya’s preparations towards ICC U19 Cricket World Cup.

Batting first, Kenya got bowled out for only 133 on board, with Rohan Davis (2/28) and Mike Jeffrey (2/21) the pick of the bowlers for Sydney Thunder Indigenous XI.

Kenyan bowlers managed to pick up 4 wickets in response but Thunder Indigenous XI captain Ben Patterson scored 91 n.o to guide his team to victory reaching 134/4.

Kenya U-19 team will next play against the MoneyGram Thunder Nation Cup All Stars in Rouse Hill on Thursday, before meeting with Canada U19 team in Blacktown on Saturday. Canada are currently playing practice games against NSW U19 team.
