Sunoco Minor League Cricket (MiLC) 2023 begins in August

The third (3rd) edition of Minor League Cricket (MiLC) will be starting from 04th August and will see twenty-six (26) teams across United States compete in regional conferences, resulting in more than 150+ T20 matches across the season before the Finale week. The player draft for the league was conducted on 07th June 2023, with player movements happening across franchises in various conferences. The Silicon Valley Strikers team were the winners of the inaugural edition held in 2021, while Seattle Thunderbolts are the defending Champions from the 2022 edition of the tournament.

With players from Minor League Cricket becoming part of Major League Cricket (MLC) franchises for it’s inaugural edition in 2023, MiLC now provides genuine opportunity for 400+ players based in the US to get recognized for opportunities in the future editions of MLC, and acts as a strong feeder system to the overall pathway for players. During the player draft, some of the notable franchise changes for players included the likes of Andries Gous, Ehsan Adil, Hammad Azam, Nauman Anwar (Dallas Mustangs), Bhaskar Yadram, Monank Patel (New Jersey Stallions), Chaitanya Bishnoi, Harmeet Singh, Smit Patel (Dallas Xforia Giants), Milind Kumar, Shubham Ranjane (Lone Star Athletics), Mukhtar Ahmed, Saif Badar (Houston Hurricanes), Phani Simhardi, Unmukt Chand (Atlanta Lightning), Ryan Scott (The Philadelphians), Saad Ali, Tajinder Singh (Chicago Kingsmen).
