Oman announce squad for T20I quadrangular & Development XI Squad

Cricket Oman (CO) have announced a 14-member men’s senior national squad, which will be competing in a T20I quadrangular series against the visiting teams from Ireland, Scotland and Netherlands.

A Development XI squad was also announced by the selectors, which will play two T20 matches against Ireland before the start of the Quadrangular tournament. Oman Development team will also play some practice matches against the Senior Oman side leading to the Quadrangular T20 tournament.

The tournament will see all the teams play each other once and the top team at the end of the group-phase will be declared the winners. Oman are high on confidence factor after winning the ICC World Cricket League Division 3 at home in Nov 2018 but a disappointment campaign in the ACC Emerging Nations Asia Cup in Dec 2018 will spur them back on to start 2019 on a more positive note.
