Oman announce squad for U19 CWC Asia Division 1 qualifiers

Oman Cricket (OC) have announced the 14-member squad for the upcoming ICC U19 CWC Asia Division 1 qualifiers, to be hosted by Malaysia Cricket Association from Apr 10th – 19th, 2019.

U19 team’s from Nepal, UAE, Malaysia, Oman, Singapore and Kuwait will be competing in the single round-robin format for one qualification spot from the Asian region into the main draw of 2020 U19 World Cup in South Africa.

Oman and Kuwait qualified from Division 2 qualifiers held in Thailand where they were declared the joint-winners, after the final ended in a tie.

Prathamesh Kumble (Captain), Joel Baiju, Adeel Abbas, Mohammed Sameer, Muhammed Muzahir Raza, Neev Poojari, Azam Ali, Yash Mehta, Jeel Tanna, Sami Al Balushi, Amanpreet Singh Sirah, Sanjaya Raj Ravindra, Joshin Vincent & Arjun Rajesh

13th Apr 2019: Oman U19 vs Malaysia U19 @UKM Oval

15th Apr 2019: Singapore U19 vs Oman U19 @Kinrara Oval

16th Apr 2019: Oman U19 vs Nepal U19 @UKM Oval

18th Apr 2019: UAE U19 vs Oman U19 @Bayuemas Oval
