UAE announce squad for Australia T20I in Abu Dhabi

Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) have announced a 15-member squad for their T20I match against Australia on 22nd Oct 2018 at Sheikh Zayed Nursery Oval 1 ground in Abu Dhabi.

The match will commence from 2pm local time and will be the first T20I fixture for UAE against a top 3 ranked full member in 2018. UAE’s last international commitment in the T20 format was in ICC World T20 Asia “A” qualifiers, held in Kuwait earlier this year.

Of all the members in the squad, Mohammad Naveed has had a good lead-up to this T20I, with his stint in the 2018 Afghanistan Premier League in Sharjah for the past few weeks. U19 player Fahad Nawaz was also recently seen in action in the ACC U19 Asia Cup in Bangladesh in Sep/Oct 2018.
