Cricket Romania will host the European Cricket Series (ECS) T10 tournament from July 12th – 17th, 2021 at Moara Vlasiei ground in Ilfov county, Bucharest.
ACCB (Asian Cricket Club Bucharest), who are the winners of the 2020 edition of the tournament, played as ICC (Indian CC) Bucharest last season. They will again face similar opponents in United, Baneasa, Cluj CC and Bucharest Gladiators. A total of 24 matches will be played during the competition, with all games to be live streamed on the European Cricket Network (ECN) website and on FanCode App for Indian territory.
Romania national squad took part in the recently concluded Sofia Twenty20 tournament in Bulgaria, where they emerged victorious against the host’s, Greece and Serbia. The players were involved in the domestic T20 competition prior to that, in the 2021 Cupa Romania Shamsher Singh tournament held in May 2021.
