European Cricket Network (ECN) and North German Cricket Association (NDCV) have collaborated for a 12-day T10 tournament called ECS Germany Kiel T10 at Kiel Cricket Ground. All the clubs compete in the Northern German Cricket Association domestic competitions and have played against each other in the domestic T20 tournament in 2020.
The likes of Kummerfelder Sportverein (KSV), MTV Stallions, SC Europa and PSV Hann-Munden have previous experience of playing in ECS T10 events in Hannover and Kummerfeld, while Kieler HTC, THCC Hamburg, First Contact, Moorburger TSV and SG Hameln are all making their ECS debut in the Kiel event. All the matches in the ECS Kiel T10 will be streamed on the European Cricket Network ( www.ecn.cricket ) and in India on Fancode platform ( FanCode ).

The ECN and its tournaments are a valuable addition to our programme of cricket and it is very attractive for our players to show their skills to large global audiences,” said Brian Mantle, CEO of the Deutscher Cricket Bund (DCB) to European Cricket Network.
There has been a big influx of refugees in the German system from Afghanistan and neighboring countries, that has led to the rise of cricket clubs in past couple of years.
