Oman and Kenya clash to avoid wooden spoon

A mixed bag of a campaign for Oman in ICC WCL Division 2 saw them win 2 out of their 5 group matches and a heavily disappointing performances from Kenya saw them remain win-less at the end of the group stage.

Both teams will now clash again after their final round of match against each other where Oman prevailed over Kenya. Now they will fight for the 5th/6th play-off in the tournament to avoid being finishing last in the 6-team event.

As per the current WCL rules, both the countries stand to get relegated to WCL Division 3, which will be played somewhere towards the end of 2018 or in 2019. Division 4 will be played shortly in Malaysia from Apr 25 – May 06, 2018.
