Cricket Canada have officially announced the player registrations being open for the 2021 Global T20 Canada draft on their website. The registration is open for both players and player agents.
Cricket Canada’s franchise-based T20 tournament, approved by ICC, will tentatively take place in June/July 2021 at Kinrara Oval in Kuala Lumpur, as Malaysian Cricket Association (MCA) stepped in to host the 3rd edition of the tournament, as it would not be possible to host the event in Brampton due to COVID-19 pandemic situation.
The tournament is organised by Cricket Canada in collaboration with Bombay Sports Pvt Ltd, based out of India.The last day for registration and player draft date will be announced by the organizers in due course of time.

The T20 franchise tournament has received good viewership on global TV networks and streaming services and is expected to get more numbers in 2021 via global video streaming and OTT services.
