Malaysia have been making progress in their senior men’s squad preparations before ICC Men’s T20 World Cup asia regional finals in Singapore in Jul 2019. The team recently hosted a T20I triangular series at home against Maldives and Thailand and remained unbeaten to emerge victorious.
The next stage of preparations sees them take on world ranked 11th nation, Nepal, in a 2-match T20I series at Kinrara Oval on Jul 13th – 14th, 2019. Nepal and Malaysia have played against each other in the T20 format scarcely but the last time Malaysia got the better of Nepal was back in 2009, when they managed to beat them in a T20 match at Sharjah.
The two matches on Jul 13 and 14 at Kinrara Oval will start at 10am local time (7:45am Kathmandu time). Both the matches will be live streamed on Cricket Malaysia’s website and facebook/twitter pages.
