The next line of Bangladeshi superstars coming from the U19 ranks will have their task cut-out as they head to Sri Lanka to play against their counterparts from October 15th – 25th, 2021, where they will play five (5) Youth ODI’s (50-overs) matches during their tour. Both countries are using the tour to prepare themselves for upcoming tournaments in December 2021 (U19 Asia Cup) and February 2022 (ICC U19 Cricket World Cup in West Indies).
While Sri Lanka U19 team will be playing International matches after a long gap of time due to COVID-19 pandemic situation, Bangladesh U19 have played competitive matches recently at home, when they hosted Afghanistan U19 team for matches in 50-overs and First-Class (4-Day) format.
