Afghanistan “A” start Bangladesh tour to search for future stars

Afghanistan “A” are set to begin their tour of Bangladesh from Jul 05th onwards, with the first of the two 4-day fixtures slated against the host’s “A” squad at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium, Khulna. The second 4-day game is slated to take place from Jul 12th – 15th, 2019.

The series will also see both the squads compete in a 5-match ODI series (List-A) after the conclusion of the 4-day games. The 50-overs fixtures will be played on 19th, 21st, 24th, 27th and 29th Jul 2019.

The training camps for the U19 and Emerging Asia Cup tournaments are also underway in Kabul and Nangarhar. The Cricket Board have specified that players performances from “A” and Emerging squads will be given preference for National squad spots in the future International tournaments.
