The Northern Cricket Union has announced that the remainder of the 2020 season will be completed with series of competitions, all to be played in the T20 format of the game. The tournaments will start from 18th Jul 2020 with the eight Premier league clubs competing for the Robinson Services Cup, playing each other once with the top four going through to the semi-finals. The eight clubs will also play a knock out competition for the Lagan Valley Steels T20 Cup with the winner lining up in the All-Ireland T20 finals.
The 10 Senior League 1 clubs will play each other once for the Robinson Services Trophy as well as a knock out competition for the Lagan Valley Steels T20 Trophy. Senior Leagues 2 and 3 competitions are reorganized with the 12 clubs divided into three groups of four to compete for the Robinson Services Bowl. The teams will play each other home and away with the group winners and the best runner-up proceeding to the semi-finals.

Cooke Collegians, Laurelvale, Lurgan and Victoria
Group B
Ards, Bangor, Donaghadee and Holywood
Group C
BISC, Dundrum, Dunmurry and Drumaness Super Kings
The will be no men’s Gallagher Senior Challenge competition in 2020 but the company will sponsor the women’s Challenge Cup. All the arrangements were made following Cricket Ireland’s COVID-19 Safe Return to Play Protocols (SRTPP), released on 07th Jul 2020. As part of the Safe Return to Train and Safe Return to Play Protocols each club is required to ensure they have a COVID-19 Safety Officer (or an alternative representative appointed by the club) on site at all times when activity is occurring at the club venue.
