Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will be hosting South Africa emerging Women’s team from March 28th – April 14th, 2021 for a five-match one-day series. All the matches will be played at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
The five matches will take place on April 04th, 06th, 08th, 11th and 13th. The South African team will land in Dhaka and give samples for COVID-19 testing on March 28th and will be taken to Sylhet on the same day.
Bangladesh Women will be preparing themselves for the upcoming ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifiers in July 2021 in Sri Lanka, and playing the series at home conditions will provide opportunities for the national squad members to fine-tune their skills after no action in the middle due to COVID-19 pandemic for the whole of 2020.
The Emerging tour of Bangladesh will provide the national coaching set-up to have a good look at the bench strength for future ICC tournaments.
