Cricket Ireland (CI) are set to host men’s national squad from Zimbabwe from August 27th – September 13th, with the 3-match ODI matches as part of 2023 CWC Super League and T20I matches to prepare for 2021 Men’s T20 World Cup in Oman and UAE in October/November 2019. Zimbabwe will also play a one-off List-A fixture against the Ireland Wolves squad as well at Belmont on 06th September, in-between the T20I and ODI series schedule.
Stormont will host the 3-match ODI matches during the Zimbabwe series, while Clontart and Bready grounds will host the T20I matches. All matches will be live streamed via Cricket Ireland’s collaboration with HBV Studios.
The national squad members and other domestic players are currently playing for their respective clubs in the Inter-Provincial series in both 50-overs and T20 formats. Ireland men were recently involved in the home series against South Africa, and the Zimbabwe series will be crucial to score points towards the ODI Super League points table.
