The Charles Darwin University (CDU) Men’s Strike League (CDU Strike League) competition in both 50-overs and T20 formats will be taking place from 25th June – 28th July, 2023 across various venues in the Darwin region (Northern Territory Cricket administration). The tournaments will be competed by four (4) selected teams representing City Cyclones, Northern Tide, Southern Storm and Desert Blaze.
The local players in the NT Cricket region will be in action alongside players, who have played in Australia Cricket’s domestic first-class and franchise level tournaments, including the Big Bash League (BBL). NT Cricket will select three (3) Northern Territory players for each Franchise squads (total squad of 15 players) with a focus on providing quality opportunity to the youngsters, with each Franchise to include two (2) of those players within the playing XI in each fixture of the Strike League.
