Afghanistan’s national team captain, Asghar Stanikzai & the spin wizard Rashid Khan announced their arrival in style as Stanikzai smashed a 100 off only 66 deliveries and Rashid picking up 4/2 in the 2nd innings to hand Afghanistan victory over Hong Kong “A” by an innings & 182 runs in a 2-day practice game.
Afghanistan posted 317/6 in 46 overs with Stanikzai remaining unbeaten on his century and then bowled out Hong Kong “A” cheaply, twice to hand them a big defeat. Hong Kong “A” could manage to score only 62 runs in the 2nd innings.
Afghanistan is on tour of Hong Kong to play the ICC Intercontinental Cup match from October 20th-23rd, 2017.
