Emirates Cricket Board’s initiative, T10 Cricket League (TCL), the first of its kind to be held across four days from Dec 14th – 17th, has secured the title sponsor for the marquee event from Hyderabad based Heera Group from India.

The tournament will be played at the iconic Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

The partnership was unveiled at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad as part of the Indywood Film Festival at the film city on Saturday night.

Six franchises namely, Punjabi Legends, Pakhtoons, Maratha Arabians, Bengal Tigers, Team Sri Lanka Cricket, and Kerala Kings will be taking part in the tournament which is an Asian centric tournament with 2 UAE players mandated per squad and 1 UAE player to be part of playing XI for every franchise per match.

World’s top current and yesteryear superstars have been brought on board after the player auctions held in November 2017.

“We need to evolve with times and nothing should signify this better than giving a product to the fans that they can relate with. So here we are after months of planning to finally unveil to the world, our dream (TCL),” commented Shaji-ul-Mulk, Chairman of TCL and a Member of the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB).
