Bullet-proof cars provided for Nepal & Bangladesh teams for Blind World Cup in Pakistan

Nepal and Bangladesh’s Blind World Cup squads have arrived in Pakistan for the event and the official unveiling of the World Cup trophy was held in Lahore, Pakistan.

The Blind World Cup starts on 08th Jan 2018 with the 1st match between Bangladesh and Pakistan at the iconic Gaddaffi Stadium in Lahore.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) provided bullet-proof vehicles for the Nepali & Bangladeshi squads upon reception after they arrived in Lahore. The reception of the teams were done at the venue of the unveiling of the World Cup Trophy.

Indian Blind cricket council had informed PCB that since the Indian government didn’t give clearance, the Indian external affairs ministry had also not issued NOCs to the Indian team to travel to Lahore for the World Cup opening ceremony and matches. India would now play its matches of the World Cup in Ajman and Sharjah.

If India reaches the final, the final will also get relocated to UAE from Pakistan.
