The Executive Board of Asian Cricket Council (ACC) have approved the inclusion of National teams from Japan (Japan Cricket Association) and Indonesia (Persutan Cricket Indonesia) in the ACC pathway tournaments to participate as invitees. The decision was taken during the ACC Executive Board Meeting in Bahrain on 04th February 2023, with the next ACC Executive Board Meeting scheduled to take place in March 2023. Both Cricket boards of Japan and Indonesia are part of ICC East-Asia Pacific (EAP) region, and the opportunity to compete with the Asian countries in the pathway competitions in both 50-overs and T20 formats.
