MCA (Malta Cricket Association) will be hosting the European Cricket Series (ECS) T10 tournament from 30th January – 25th February at Marsa Sports club. The board will also host the T10 Tri-series between the Nationals squads of Spain, Malta and Austria from February 18th – 19th, 2023. These ECN (European Cricket Network) series will be running alongside the regular domestic season in the country, which started with the Malta T20 Premier Cricket League tournament in December 2022.
Ten (10) domestic clubs, namely Bugibba Blasters, Gozo CC, Gozo Zalmi, Marsa, Msida Warriors, Mater Dei, Royal Strikers, Southern Crusaders, Sweiqi United, and Victoria Lions will be competing in the T10 tournament. The Board have already hosted four (4) events in the ECN calendar from 2020-2022, and will be looking forward to providing more coverage at the beginning of the year with the International series, which will start a new initiative for ECN to add to it’s bouquet of events throughout the year.
