Rain has spoiled Nepal Women’s chances one more time as they had to content with sharing points with Hong Kong women in their 2nd match in the WWT20 Asia Qualifiers.
Nepal’s first match against the host’s, Thailand, was also washed out yesterday due to rain into the 4th over of the Nepali Women’s innings chasing Thailand’s total of 90. Hong Kong women, though, registered victory against Malaysia women.
Malaysia Women defeated China Women in the 2nd morning match of the day. Batting first, China women were bowled out for 33 in 12.4 overs with Jannadiah Halim (3/11) and Zayani Syamini (2/9) running through the batting line-up.
Malaysia lost 3 wickets en-route to 34/3 in 10.2 overs to win the match by 7 wickets. Thailand women take on UAE women in the final match of the day.
