The Men’s National squad of Uruguay will be touring Argentina from February 11th – 12th, 2023 to play a T20 bi-lateral series comprising of four (4) matches, with two (2) matches being played on both match-days at San Albano Club ground (Corimayo) and Belgrano Athletic Club ground (Virrey del Pino). Both these venues (along with one more venue) will be hosting T20Is in February 2023 during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Americas sub-regional qualifier in Argentina.
Both the teams last met each other in a T20 game during the group stages of 2022 Men’s South American Championships held in Brazil in October. There is a rich history of the sport being played between the two (2) countries, as the last tour of Uruguay Men’s team to Argentina was back in 2018 to celebrate the occasion of 150 years of completion from the first game being played between them dating back in 1868. This series will be part of preparations for Argentina Men’s team, ahead of the sub-regional qualifier.
