Seychelles Cricket Association (SCA) have announced that in collaboration with Gran Kaz Entertainment, they have arranged for South Africa’s top domestic clubs, Multiply Titans to visit them on their pre-season tour from 23rd – 28th Aug, 2018 to prepare for the upcoming domestic season and also play a T20 game against the local club, Gran Kaz Kings.

As part of the pre-season tour, 200 boys and girls and local coaches will be provided training sessions by the team as part of a coaching clinic set up at Stad Popiler. The team will be based at the AVANI Seychelles Barbarons Resort and Spa for the duration of tour in Seychelles.

Chairman of SCA, Jonathan Paul, told Titans website “We are extremely excited and appreciative that the Multiply Titans have chosen to kick off their season with a visit to our islands. The team will be coming to the one of the most beautiful and hospitable islands in the world. It is also a great opportunity for the development of cricket in the Seychelles,”.

Multiply Titans, coached by former Proteas wicket-keeper, Mark Boucher had a successful 2017 domestic season, which saw them win the Ram Slam T20 Challenge and the four-day Sunfoil Series.

Seychelles will be taking part in the Africa Cricket Association (ACA) Africa T20 qualifiers and the country looks forward in becoming a major emerging nation in the region in the near future.
